DLC Brothers was built on a foundation of family, discipline, and long-term vision.

The story began in 2015, when the eldest brother graduated from university in St. Louis, Missouri. With the support and initial investment of his family, he founded D’Lora Baseball Academy in the Dominican Republic. The academy was created to support young athletes who believed their opportunities in professional baseball had ended. In the Dominican Republic, players over the age of 16 are often considered beyond draft eligibility, leaving many talented individuals without a clear future in the sport. The academy provided renewed opportunity, structure, and development for these athletes until it was forced to close in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

During this period of transition, the brothers reflected on their family’s entrepreneurial roots, which began in 1978 in the Dominican Republic. Guided by that legacy, they made the decision to build a new venture in the United States—one that honored their family history while focusing on sustainable growth and diversification.

In 2020, DLC Brothers Construction was founded in honor of their grandfather, Adolfo. The company was established to renovate, acquire, sell, and manage residential and commercial properties. From its inception, the business demonstrated steady progress, consistently meeting annual objectives and expanding operations beyond the United States to support international projects. Today, the company remains a proudly family-owned and operated enterprise led by the Lora Francisco brothers.

As the organization continued to grow, the brothers identified an opportunity within the transportation and logistics industry. Committed to excellence, they invested several years in hands-on experience—learning to operate commercial trucks, studying logistics, and developing the operational knowledge required to deliver reliable, high-quality service.

In 2024, after years of preparation and disciplined execution, the DLC family launched its first transportation company. What began with a single truck quickly expanded into a fleet of 10 company-owned trucks, supported by a strong network of owner-operators. Despite being a young company, the transportation division has earned a solid reputation for professionalism, reliability, and trusted partnerships.

Today, DLC Brothers continues to grow across construction, transportation, and logistics, guided by the same principles that shaped its beginnings: family values, hard work, accountability, and a commitment to building lasting success across every venture.
